Mythical Monsters

I have been sitting reading a childs book on the above subject and when i came to the Cerberus and Chimaera it made me think of what made PW take the model names off in the Mythical Monster direction,does anybody know the story behind it ? there must have been some interesting board meetings,what shall we call the new model,Chupacabra,Gogmagog,Leviathan,Tokoloshe,Basilisk,Gorgon,Hydra,Kraken,Manticore,Minotaur,Scylla,Wyvern to mention a few.
Does anybody know any of the considered names which were not used ?
What would your choice of name be for the next TVR model(lets leave NS out of it as its all fantasy anyway ),Mythical,Engine size or what ever takes your fancy.

I think its great! I have a habit of naming my PCs/Servers/network equipment after ancient greek Gods/demons etc!

I would call it Lucifer. Only avaliable in Deamon red and Beelzabub (however you spell it) black

Clarkson didn't think T350 fitted in so called it the Valhalla instead.

i was just reading a mythalogical monsters book and it states that chimaera was fathered by typhon..!!?? a real chicken and egg moment

If I remember correctly the Chimaera before it was named was termed as U P 1 (Ugly Pig 1) at TVR. Unfortunate name for the most successful selling model!!
