Sparco seats as per STR8SIX Sag
Discussion
Righto folks,
Was speaking to Jason @ STR8SIX the other day about those fantastic Sparco seats in his S/C Red Bull Blue Sag. He said that the Sparco's are actually custom made for TVR due to the sizing and fitting between the tunnel/doors etc. Anyway, apparently TVR had 20 sets which all disappeared.
Anyone know where they went?
I'm desperate to get my mits of a pair.
Cheers, Lee

Lee,
Dom at TVRPower also has a set in his Sag, I talked with him a few years ago about getting hold of a pair. He told me that they had all been handed over to multipart.
I believe that multi part were planning on selling them as a kit (you get the basic seat frame and filling but not upholstered. I did enquire but they were after daft ££ for them.
Maybe speak with Dom and see what he says now.
The seats in the T cars are a real let down, they are comfy enough but don’t give the support that you’d expect. I think sideways has a good solution with the cobra seat, some one has also put a pair of Lotus Elise seats in a T350 – this I think is the option I am going to look at.

They look fantastic and far more supportive than the standard seats. A few questions if I may,
Can you chose the colour of the stitching & seat backs and what do they cost?
Thanks
Cobra let you choose the covering material, colour, logos, stitching and the shell in carbonfibre, fibreglass etc.Can you chose the colour of the stitching & seat backs and what do they cost?

This are Racer Pro seats from www.cobraseats.com
I had to modify the mountings so the original slides could be fitted.
The seats are quite narrow and I suggest to try one before buying them.

Very nice looking seats. I'm surprised to see that the seat belt buckle is bolted to the seat/runner rather than the chassis. Could there be any safety issues with this, if for instance the seat bolts pulled through the floor?I had to modify the mountings so the original slides could be fitted.
