Philip Phedonos and Hi-Torq - any experiences?

Hi,

Just doing a spot of window shopping in the classifieds and it's occured to me that my two local dealers both seem to be conspicuously cheap compared to the usual TVR specialists. This is potentially a very good thing obviously, but does anyone have any experiences of dealing with either (feel free to PM if you prefer)?

Not dealt with either but have heard good things about Mr Phedonos from others. Have not heard of Hi Torq apart from seeing some of their ads.

Same here, not heard of Hi Torq other than seeing their wanted ads.

A couple of PH's have purchased Cerbs priced at the lower end of the market over the last few months from Phedonos and they seem to have been decent buys from what I have read.

I notice he has a GTS blue Cerb at the moment which looks rather nice.

Bought my Cerbera recently from Philip also, he seems like a very honest seller and seems know what to look for when sourcing TVRs.

As regards Hi-Torq they seem to have some unusual spec cars and some conspicuously cheap examples. The one I saw this morning was a Griff for (just under) £6.5k:

To be fair it is a very early 4-litre "in need of tidying" so maybe it's not that surprising.

bought mine from PP too. Car was great and deal was straight.

Bought my Chim 500 off Phil and was very easy to deal with, great car still smiling!
