okay so its the Sun news paper, I can't post a link as I can't access the papers site, but in the Sun today they posted the top 100 used car buys,
top was BMW 3 series.
In 86th was Chim/Cerbra
and Griff was in 93rd
And to really rub salt in the MGF was 92nd.

What was the brief for the top used car buy?
Was it based on residual values?

Im guessing that being the Sun it was based on their idea of coolness, or more likely the first few cars they found in the Parkers guide as they flicked through it. (Hence the BMW being up the top and the Chim coming before the Griff!).

oh go on then... prove me wrong.

Chimaera better than the Griff, it's good that in this day and age you can still get quality, factual and in depth analysis and reporting.

(If it was Griff better than Chim then I would have agreed with him!)

Personally I love the idea of a Coolness rating

I know for a fact that my Griff has a Funk-Factor of 83.7 !!!!

And I think I'm right in saying that 85% of all statistics are completely made up

And to quote Yes Minister:

"The Times" is read by the people who run the country.
The "Daily Mirror" is read by the people who think they run the country.
"The Guardian" is read by the people who think they ought to run the country.
"The Independent" is read by people who don't know who runs the country but are sure they're doing it wrong.
The "Daily Mail" is read by the wives of the people who run the country.
The "Financial Times" is read by the people who own the country.
The "Daily Express" is read by the people who think the country ought to be run as it used to be run.
The "Daily Telegraph" is read by the people who still think it is their country.
And the "Sun's" readers don't care who runs the country providing she has big tits.

PMSL...

Did you really believe something that was published in The Sun?

Anyway, please find me a Sun reader that can spell Cerbera or Chimaera. Ford is much easier to spell.

Been wanting to find that speech for ages! Classic stuff! The writers were geniues...genii?

Re the debate: I prefer the Chimaera looks but cannot make a judgement on which is a better car to drive as I have never driven a Griff... RudeGirl, your opinions please?

Geniuses - unlike the hacks who work for The Sun obviously.
