I've just spent the weekend at Portimao and checked out the Al Melling situation. It seems that, since the tragic loss of Mrs Melling, Al has decided to curtail further projects. There is, apparently, quite a lot of stuff for sale = largely engine parts etc

The chap looking after it for Al ruins a motorsport business at Portimao and I can put anyone interested in touch

On an entirely different subject - it's a great track and the historic F1 race was a real cracker

Jasper, I was at the Portimao Circuit in August. Spoke to the same chap you spoke to. He said he would email me the details of what was for sale and prices. Sadly my inbox he remained empty
