Anyone here contemplating Drive Espana's trip next April? Looks interesting and incorporates a trackday too apparently.

Just spent 3 nights at Hotel Abentofail in Guadix - close to where track day will be. It's a jewel and the food is outstanding

Second that Roy, what's the parking like Jasper?

Security is No 1 issue - we've just left 3 DB9s a Ferrari 550 ( he let me drive it at Guadix !!!!!!!!) and a Bentley Continental with no real problems - the local police closed the parking for us - but space is limited so we'll use the pit garages at the circuit and they'll ferry us back and forth. Don't say Clive Greenhalgh isn't a top bloke.

Can't make it and besides, my head is still spinning from the outragious USA Tour.

Might just pop down to Barca (only about 350 miles from our place) to spend the night(s) and meet up with you guys.

What made it outrageous Gerjo, did you manage more than 55mph?

It is truely amazing how few cops we actually saw. The speeds we did were silly. The Corvette is a surprizingly great car, very fast and yet comfortable, with an exhaust note to die for and an electric roof. Perfect for driving tours like these. We could really "use" its performance.
Would love to have one as a daily drive!

Pay attention Ian, I said DAILY drive; my Tuscan will never go !

The Corvette is a sort of modern Griff with added comfort, low maintenance and it can even live outside. I was quite impressed. But it's not as sharp as a "modern" TVR.
