I was having a very interesting conversation with a friend last night.

he's looking at spening upto £15K on a sports car, in fact he was muttering MGF!

'Are TVR's as bad as people say?' was how the conversation went. 'No, not if they've been cared for'.

The problem is that due to medical condition he only has an Auto licence.

Knowing that the S's use the Ford V6 and the Griffs/Chimaeras and wedges use the RV8, has anyone sucessfully fitted a slush box?

Thanks

Tim

Im guessing the Typhon is clutch(pedal)less.
(and probably a little bit expensive too)

There are a few 280s that were fitted with an auto box as a factory fit option. The May 1981 price list shows it as a £498.33 option.

There was a story on her a couple of years ago about someone who had adapted his Griff to an auto. Try a search.
