Flat spot on tyre.

Tyres have been sat still for a couple of months and when I jacked up the car and spun the wheel it is no longer round there is a small flat section. Will this dissapear when I start driving the car, or will I need new tyres.

You will know if you can hear or feel vibration. A lot depends on the make of tyre and the presuure that was in it whilst stood. Proxes on a Tuscan stood up ok after 6 months (not recommended). Goodyears unfortunately developed flat spots. I've learnt my lesson now and mark the bottom of each tyre with chalk and roll the car in & out of the garage every week. I also park it on 3 or 4 layers of old rubber mats which seems to help.
