I was handed a spare magazine yesterday called Classic cars for sale - thought I'd have a look, as there was a Chim piece in it - not bad.....

Opened with....
British built, the TVR Chimaera is the modern equivalent of the much loved Healey, with it's macho looks, brawny performance and blistering pace.

Verdict....
The Chimaera is a modern classic in every sense of the word. Big bold and beefy this TVR is really how a latter day Austin-Healey 3000 would look and perform, but a lot more affordable. Don't fret over tales of unreliability; a good, well-kept and maintained Chimaera will provide miles and smiles of endless fun.

Ok, tell us something we don't know, but nice to hear all the same.

Yup, I saw it, but once again I'm mad

not only do DG get recommended as the cerbera specilist in the classic and sportscar cerbie review, but there's pics in the classic cars for sale mag outside my workshop and I don't get so much as a sniff in the text! ..

pmsl!! ..

maybe someone in the car club doesn't like me ...

Julian

Classic Cars For Sale is a different mag and featured Shnozz's car in it taken outside your workshop youth!

I know which Cerbera article your referring too and yes a very strange article ...the Blue Cerbera owners will be out to burn their magazine office down.

The Classic Cars for Sale magazione seems a hard one to finmd on the shelves - I have to admit last months which was prompting the article on the Chimaera was actually the first time I have ever seen it.

If anyone wants a copy ring then on 01778 392022 or email the editor at bradcamanderson@aol.com

A TVR Chimaera owner I know wrote it and asked for some pictures so I sent them a CD rom but they wouldn't publish the picture of Shnozz and Flasher naked on the bonnet of his car...

Anyway at least they rang a selection of people in the trade on this article unlike some others...

LOL .. have seen both the mags, the best mag article was the evo Tuscan buying guide .. I was in the list of specialists at the end of the article, obviously at the time they had no idea i hated tuscans with a passion!! (not true now tho) lmao.

I *might* have let it slip to someone the other night though that I thought the Tuscan a much better car to drive than the Cerbera .. *yikes* and with reliability at an all time high, there's never been a better time to buy *yay*
