Tips appreciated chaps:
After I treated it ('96 Griff) to nearly 3 grands worth of brakes & suspension, a holiday abroad & a couple of track days, it's rewarded me by craping out the charging system.
Now I've checked the voltage at the alternator (engine off, battery giving 13 volts) & it's reading less than 1 volt.
This makes me think I've got a wiring problem rather than an alternator one.
Anyone know the cable run from the battery to the alternator & any connections along the way?
TIA Ian

TVM. I wondered what that was (only had a quick poke around from above so far). Would the battery connect to the starter, then the starter to the alternator then?

thats right, fuse can crack from corrosion/vibration best to check by lying underneath car.

Won't have time to check 'til Weds. Guess the vibration could have been down to the rumble strip at the exit of paddock (Brands)
