New Hampshire RO
Discussion
Hi All,
For those of you that did not attend tonights TVR club meeting at the Hen & Chicken it was agreed that I will stand as the new RO for TVR Hampshire.
For those of you who don't know me I'm Craig Adams
, I own the very quiet discreet purple Cerbera!!!
Before I go on please could you all join me in thanking Dave for the work he has done for the club over the past few years.
In the next few weeks I'll be looking to start getting things in order so I would appreciate if in the mean time you could email me (cerber450 profile) any ideas, comments or concerns you may have regarding the Hants TVR Club.
So thats all for now and I'll see you all (please be more than 4!) at the next meeting on the 25th.
Thank you
Craig

Craig, congratulations on the post and good luck with the role. I will try and assist in giving support, as I am sure other members shall.
Dave, many thanks in moving the region forward in the time I have been in the TVRCC. As was said last night, it is a thankless task and you have moved the region forward in a number of ways, for which I am sure I speak for all in saying we are thankful
Hopefully you have laid the foundations for progressing the region. I do hope you will continue to play an active role.
And Shillers, I got the impression you may be interested in a beer or 10 at a regional social event. Or did I get the wrong end of the stick?
The evenings are getting lighter, the Hen and Chicken is a good run from all directions. Thursday nights should be a good turn out and lets work towards some good sunday meets. Oh, and piss ups...

Yep well done Craig for stepping forward, and as some one said to me last night, by saying things have got to get better he has rather made his task harder.
Having taken the region from a meetings of 3-6 upto yesterday's full meeting I'm very happy with what I've achieved. I'd also like to see more different fun meets, but know I'm not the person to take it forward. I know Andy did both Go Karting and Track Days and I know that, as Giles was saying, for the organiser they are hell. Ask Steve_T he's trying to get a Multi-regional Go Kart together at the moment.
Yesterdays meeting was good in people were talking about what they want from the club, and I agree with Tony it has got to be more than just Sprint once a month.
Anyway on the communication front, I see Paulc is offering regional areas on the new TVRCC web forum. Do you want to go that route? My view is not 100% of TVRCC use PH and not 100% of PH are TVR owners, but there is a large overlap. I'd take the offer and kill the yahoo e-group thing, but thankfully I'm not RO and don't have to make that call.
Over to you Craig.
Cheers
David
Did someone say
, if it's on the rail route from Romsey
!

So quiet and discreet you'd be forgiven for mistaking it for a green rover with L plates
Hi Craig
congratulations - as others have said i hope you know what you have let yourself in for - or perhaps it is better not to know in advance. Dave : thankyou for a splendid job
Look forward to seeing you all again at the next H&C meet - with hopefully another sprint from BW!
Again welcome Craig. I think as a group we have lots of good people, plenty of enthusiasm and lots of potential. Thats got to be a pretty good start. We also have a chance at becoming the noisiest region too
Dave, as others have said, thanks for your efforts. There have been some really good meetings over the past year and half that I have been a member and I appreciate the time that you have put in to make them happen and make us aware of them.
Shillers - your glass empty again already???
C y'all soon
Mark

Cheers Dave Welcome Craig
I'll drink to both of you and for both of you if required!
Craig, why dont you do something to squeeze a few more horses from under that bonnet, like fit a nuclear power plant!!
I'm thinking of approaching the RAF to see if they have any spare Tornado engines.............Then I'll Nos that too!!!

Well done for taking on the job Craig and thanks David.
Meet you on the 25th unless there is a meet sooner?
I notice there will be one at Beaulieu on Sunday 18th and yet again I cant make it because I'll be in the Midlands
I think Im going to be needing to increase the mileage on my insurance policy though. What a great weekend
According to plans its gonna be over 500miles per weekend for the first month of ownership!
Can you please update us of any meets (no matter how big or small) via the yahoo group until the regional TVRCC forum gets under way.
Thanks.
PS: I think using the TVRCC regional forum would be the best way to organise things. it would also allow members from neighbouring regions to join us if they wished to as well as being a whole lot easier to follow.
