tvr maintenance in birmingham?

i've just been let down by usual tvr mechanic/electrical guy. does anyone know of someone in or around birmingham?

thanks. just found "sports car services" on google (apparently the owners used to run horizon tvr). has anyone had experience there?

Sports Car Services aka Central TVR at Stourbridge are excellent. Andy and Ade are experts on TVR with over 50 years between 'em and Pete who runs the bodyshop does an excellent job too. They've looked after my TVRs for years and I have no complaints at all ( Hell I drive from Hemel Hempstead to use them!)

Topgear Automotive over wolverhampton way ?

Not used them (do as much as poss myself) but heard they know their way round a TVR.

I've used them (but not for a TVR). Seemed like nice guys and the suspension setup they did was excellent!

i use topgear automotive in wolverhampton for my cerb, great guys and always provide me with a great service and do know tvrs.

thanks for all the info. lots more in the area than i realised.

i dropped the t350 off with sports car services this morning, blimin hard to find, but only a few miles from my house! the guy seemed genuine and he had another t350 in that day so that was re-assuring (as was the beautiful fully restored lotus cortina). i'm looking fwd to seeing what he comes back with quality/price wise.

it turns out this is a different outfit to central in stourbridge, i think if i'm not happy with scs that's who'll head for next inline, they look v.pro on the web site and are on the right side of town for me. but was also v.interesting to see other general garages that are tvr friendly in that other thread.

Hi All

I have used Top Gear in Wolverhampton for servicing and general tweaks for my tvr for the past 3 years.

They are excellent and cant recommend then enough. Helpful and they know TVR and Lotus like the back of there hand.
