I've had a TVR for about 4 years now and have been on PH most of that time.

I drive my car loads and spend far too much time on PH (According to my wife).

So why have I only ever been spotted once (even then the car was described as purple!!)?

It's just not fair!

From one of your earlier posts, you were probably going too fast for anyone to spot you. (Nice car BTW)

Where abouts in N. Yorks are you? I've seen a similar colour car passing through Selby (making a lurvely noise as it passed between the houses).

Thanks for trying, but I've very rarely been to Selby!

You'll have to come down for a weekend in sunny Sussex and then maybe a few of us South Coast PHers will spot you posing along Brighton seafront!

Has anyone else noticed how you tend to see more Tivs out and about when you're driving something other than your own P&J? Hence you don't feel you can acknowledge them with a cheery

I can sort that.... Let me know when you will next be driving through the centre of Harrogate and I'll arrange to leap out of a side street and scream 'SPOTTED' at you

I wouldn't worry. Cosmic and I haven't been "spotted" once in over 2 years, in either the TVR or the Elan.

And back in the days when the Corrado was new and rare and owners were in the habit of waving to each other and then posted a "spotted" on the owners forum, I was never "spotted" then either.

So I wouldn't worry too much.

Well there is your answer unless you drive whilst playing with your laptop. You need to get out more.

And anyway would you really want to be SPOTTED by a TVR anarak. The amount of tvr,s on the road and anarak owners is very small so the odds of getting Spotted is very small, you've probably been seen buy a normal tiv owner just not an anarak yet, they are easy to spot anarak have greasy straight pudding basin hair with the fringe to short a knitted wooly done by there nan with the buttons done up wrong, trousers to short with grey socks and plastic brouges. Oh and a clip board to make them think they are important and they stand on corners. And the one i saw had glasses that thick he would not have seen me if i had ran him over. In fact i did

Now do you really want to be SPOTTED by a
