What is the best suited car for the track?
In fact, after my megablade Westfield, I think buy a TVR because I am fascinated by this manufacturer. But I hesitate now among the Tuscan and Tamora? I feel that Tamora is lighter and more efficient on the track than the tuscan, but maybe I'm wrong ... What do you think?
Does the speedometer of the Tuscan can convert miles into kilometers, as in Tamora?

Having drove both on the track, I would say that the Tamora is by far the better car. Although they share the same chassis the Tamora feels much better planted and goes around corners with more confidence. Thats just my opinion.

I most prefered the Tamora.
Aesthetically there's no doubt in my mind, the Tamora is the most beautiful, and then drive in a convertible is a delight. The sound of speedsix is more pleasant to listen to the wind hair.smile
The problem of Tamora is perhaps to be less rigid than the Tuscan or T350 ...???? Do you think there really a performance difference between Tamora and T350 on the track ?

Is there a roll for Tamora? that could be put behind the seats and strengthen the structure?

T350 has an integrated FIA spec (IIRC) roll cage so undoubtedly will be stiffer.

I don't know of a commercial one. One of the contestants in the TVRCC Speed Championship has a roll bar for his Tamora, but he had it made.

Not FIA spec at all, and I doubt they're actually attached at the rear to steel, so I dont think it makes that much difference... I dare say the fibreglass makes the thing stiffer rather than the "cage".

Oh right, was sure I'd read that on some website somewhere.

The FIA roll cage spec was the Cerbera, the T350 is not attached to the chassis at the back. In fact the roll hoop in the Tuscan makes its the safe of the 3 cars, Tamora only has windscreen hoop and T350C one effective the same way. Tuscan has windscreen and roll bar in the hoop for the roof above the heads.

If you want it specifically for track use, buy the one with the safest/strongest built in roll cage and side impact protection, although this is very limited. Not sure if there is any difference between the two. Also check out weight differential to get the best Hp/Tonne.

I'm genuinely sorry for having a chuckle and you do speak English far better than I speak French, in fact you probably speak English better than me (I'm a Northerner). However I can't help it, that sentence is just a bit funny biggrin

Can't disagree with that wink.

With regard to the Tamora roll cage, as has been said there is a roll cage around the windscreen. I once saw a Tamora in the factory (around 2002) that had rolled several times, and the windscreen wasn't even cracked. So it would seem to be pretty robust.

Saw one in a breakers once and wouldn't put too much faith in that.

Biggest problem you might have is finding a Tamora there's not many for sale at the moment.
