Haven’t decided yet if I'll volunteer as have done the last 2 years! Last year had a driver and 2 nice girlies sitting on the back shelf holding the roll cage...at one point I kind of forgot they were there (well its difficult when on a race track in a TVR not to put your foot down...until I heard the screams behind and thought....oops! lol)

I got Paul Tracy 2 years back (world IndyCar champ), was in the yellow chim at the time. Chose Paul as have seen him racing many times on tv then realised they only used the words TRACY on the car...coming from Essex there was no way I was going home with that plastered over the car lol

Can't recall the guy last year but he used to race the speed 12 with Michael Caine and tested the Tuscan in its early development so he was very pleased to be taken out in a new Tuscan S.

Have fun everyone thats doing it...its great fun.

Well it was until they decided to pull the championship race away from the UK...think the stadium being only a quarter full might have something to do with it. Paul Tracy was very surprised that the stands were empty...over in the states they get full stadiums over 50-100 thousand people.

I did it last year

www.tvrcc-eastmidlands.co.uk/reports.asp#2

To be honest the racing wasn't my cup of tea (but if you don't try you don't know) very stop start, and I'm sure the safety car did more laps than some of the drivers

We made a weekend of it and stayed in the Hilton up the road, which was nice

It really is an experiance to have that many people looking at you and waving
