Every time I click on a topic I also get a junk advert, is this usual or have I got to sort something out in my PC????

If your seeing the TVR related ads on each page it's a good thing, revenue from these keeps sites like this running. I'm sure Ted can confirm this.

However if you are seeing random pop up windows when you connect to any site you should clear out your cookies. Try Ad-aware from Lavasoft, it's free and deletes 'Spyware' that notifies sites when you are on-line. Download here:
