If it's the incident I've just heard about then it was a Chimaera and one person was killed.

I have just heard about this and regret to confirm that it is indeed true and we have lost a member from the TVRCC in the Blackpool region. I do not know the exact circumstances of the tragedy.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the driver's wife and family. I will be thinking about them.

I drove past a yellow Chimaera on Saturday lunchtime coming into Blackpool with my family. I turned to my wife and commented on how cool it was to be cruising the front in your TVR on a sunny Saturday, it is something I have always wanted to do.

It saddens me deeply to know how tragically it all ended just a few minutes later. My sincere condolences go to the drivers family and friends.

This is terrible news, doubly so after the Telegraph TVR article on Saturday.

Having lost my own brother at 25, my thoughts go to his family and friends at this terrible time.
