Spares – bodywork and other hard to get bits

Hi

I have done some research and looking at buying a Griffith or a Chimaera, all of my questions I have sorted now thanks to Pistonheads , except this one. I know that most spares are easy enough to come by either working out who the original OEM is Citroen / Ford /Rover etc or speaking to specialists, I know that there are some mod’d/different spec parts out there as well but they are all still available?

My main question is before we commit to buy what parts/spares can not be bought now that TVR is no longer? The area that springs to my mind is body work etc, can it be repaired/re made even if I have nasty knock?

This is just worst case scenario, eyes wide open and all that,

Hi Alex , I can make a complete body for a Griff and most of the shell of a Chimeara (along with some of my competitors).

Wouldn't that be a handy upgrade for Chims

He didn't say that the 'new' body for the Griff was the same (old ugly one) Rob

Yes , that would be a good upgrade , unfortunatley a lot of chims were only fitted with the girlie version of the griff engine

Aye it's getting nearly as bad as Thailand in the Chim section (girls pretending to be boys....)
