Anyone going to this? had heard that a load of TVR's are coming with TMS Performance Vehicles of Melton Mowbray, including their own TVR race car. Might be some chances of flying laps in the car.

Am looking forward to it, does anyone know if we will be using the full GT circuit? I have driven the new corner at the west end on one trackday and found it quite technical to get a quick line -- but that time the full circuit was not being used.

Watch out for the dreaded noise testing, need to be under 98dB at 2/3rds revs on arrival and they do have monitoring around the track during the day -- so street legal exhausts are the order of the day.

See you there!

it is being held at Jonathan Palmers Autudrome just north of Bedford. All dayer with open pit lane

at this late stage the organisers (www.rma-limited.co.uk)are probably booked up so your only chance is via TMS -- the TVR dealer in Melton Mowbray, go to tmsgroup.co.uk and give them a call.

all the best

I'll be there. My car (Cerbera, sports exhaust, but cats still in place) was 'massively loud' (109Dbs) on the static test in february, but tailpipe inserts seemed to work ok.

The only thing is the car wouldn't rev past 5000rpm with them in........

might try a different approach this time.....

in my book it is a bargain if you do the mileage on the day, last 2 times i was there i topped 200 miles as i got into 'long distance' driving mode. last car off the circuit in Feb.

mind you, used a load of fuel at about 12 mpg, but the tyres seemed to hold up well in the colder conditions.

can't wait, this is the complete anti-dote to work.

great day, really sunny no wind.

did 270 miles including the sighting laps, love that GT circuit -- all 3.6 miles of it.

good to see so many TVR's. I got some flying laps as a passenger in the race car that TMS (Melton Mowbray) brought along -- really enjoyed that.

how was it for you?

Totally agree... was an awesome day, never had quite so much fun with my trousers on. Had 3 laps in the Griff racer, now that was special.

And yes it was me (cham blue Tusc S6) that got it backwards onto the grass in front of the pits at 100.
