Drove past Fernies early this morning - no cars in the front car park, no cars in showroom and empty except for what looked like building equipment. Any ideas as to what is happening?

Phew! They are a good company to do business with so hope they survive the recession.

Haven't they recently refurbed their premises too ? Probably as suggested in the 2nd post, closed for Xmas, cars tucked safely away in workshop / downstairs delivery area etc unless the showroom / forecourt are haveing some work done still such as new floor and tarmac over the festive period ??

I heard today they are also revamping the forecourt, showroom, and storage areas.

If like previous years they are always closed over Christmas and reopen in the new year, 3rd of Jan seems to ring a bell. smile

I was there last week, and I can confirm that they have a new office/showroom at the back of the workshop which looks very nice. The old offices have been knocked out to make the showroom bigger. They are carrying out a full refurb of the premises bringing it right up to date.

They have nearly 50 cars in storage which they are aiming to have prepared ready for sale in the new year. So they aren't going anywhere for a while.

Great news, must mean proper ones (i.e. not "runout specials") must be worth even more hehe
