"Back Home" Itinerary Anyone?????
Discussion
Does anybody know the itinerary of events for this weekends TVR Car Club "Back Home" event. I intend to turn up on the Sunday and was hoping that the usual cavalcade is still taking place along the prom followed by a gathering at the hotel car park. Anyone know times etc.
Cheers
Andy.

Hi guys,
Tour times have been revised to give people who complained that 9am was too early a chance for a lie in. Also as the majority will be driving over from The Tickled Trout it gives everyone chance for a civilised breakfast. Mrmaggit, you should have received your revised times and tickets from the Club Office by now.
ToroTVR - sorry to disappoint, but there is no cavalcade this year.

Tickets? Dancing Girls as well! Yippee!
Are we OK in training shoes or do we need steely booties?
Just to reiterate what Jane has mentioned in the information packs (and for anyone else travelling up from the South!), you're more than welcome to call in and see us at H L Gorner TVR on Saturday - en route to the Tickled Trout hotel.
As well as providing an opportunity for a toilet stop (and to stretch your legs!) there'll be sandwiches and light refreshments available from about 1.00pm onwards. We've also still got the Typhon and the Looney Tunes Tuscan in the showroom - for anyone who hasn't yet seen them!
We're literally just a couple of minutes from Junction 25 of the M6 (check the website for a proper map!) Don't be tempted to come off at Haydock (Jct 23) as it's race day at Haydock Park on Saturday and the roads will be busy!
Hope to see some of you on Saturday!

Stuart,
I guess a lot of us are travelling up on the Sunday. Anything doing on the Sunday? Even a short visit for a look around. I have got some relatives in Darwen, near Blackburn so we may go up Saturday yet - depends on whether we can garage the car.
Maggit - they knew you get up early.
Jane - not very civislised for travelling up from Brum or anywhere south of there in fact.

10.15am. I'm sure we'll bump into one another, we always seem to!
For all of you not privy to the in joke, Mr & Mrs FlipFlopGriff and Lorraine and myself bought our respective cars on the same day, at the same hour, at the same minute, but 100 miles apart.

FFG (and anyone else!) By all means call in on Sunday for a wander around, a natter and a drink! We've got about 20 TVRs in stock, plus the two TVR show cars....and our BRABUS Mercedes stock (the 6.1 litre C-Class and E-Class are well worth a look!)
Saturday's butties might be a bit stale by then but I'll get some extra danish pastries and cakes in for the Sunday crowd!

Tea and Tiffin at Gorners, then!
Sunday at about 1 pm after the tours, several of us from Blackpool region are having a spot of lunch at the Fairfield arms on Junction 3 of the M55.Kirkham exit.
Anybody who is just up for the day and haven't booked the Buffet at the tickle are welcome to join us .
Big car park, big pub, good food and convenient for setting off for home.

Sounds 'awfully spiffing' to me too. Drop in on way back home after lunch. Kids should love the Tuscan.

We're actually going up on Saturday now and stopping in Darwen with relatives (sorted a garage for the Griff) so will probably pop into Gorners on the way up.
Pub lunch sounds good.
Larco - you owe me a pint so seems like the ideal opportunity to claim it. Did you put the clear indicators on as I though I saw you at Donington (reg gives it away)?
