North East owners
Discussion
Out of interest.
Are there any TVR owners on this site (not including myself) that live in the northeast of england ??
I do my 104 mile round trip to work every day and hardly ever see another TVR, on the few occasions that I spot one I all ways seem to be in my wifes Lexus ( to keep the chim milage down
) and never get a chance to flash or wave.
After almost 8 years of TVR ownership there seems to be fewer than ever up here !! after all we have some of the best driving roads in the country.
Come on chaps get the toys out.

Cramlington, Northumberland, travel to Newcastle every day down Whiplash Alley, (Western Bypass, try keeping a steady speed at 7.30-8.00am). Keep an eye open for a Blue Chimaera. ANYWAY, why aren't you driving your own car, let your wife have hers back and get out there, you're one of the reasons you never see one on the road!!!!
I don't know whether I count but I live in Newcastle (during University term times) but my Cerby stays safely at home in Wales.
Will probably bring it up North for graduation .....would appreciate a guided tour/blast around 'some of the best driving roads' if you're up for it around mid-July!!

Silver 390SE, Stockton-on-Tees. There's a black 400SE with nitrous, a couple of 'M' series cars, a green Tasmin, several Chimaeras, Cerberas and a couple of Griffiths in the Teesside area.
I met a guy a couple of weeks back with a Cerbie; he's retired. I think he said he was 30.... ;-)

Anyone going to PH#4? Assuming it's on the 1st Sept at Clumber Park. At the moment our plan is to drive up from London to PH#4, have a couple of hours or so there, then continue on up to Newcastle to stay with the folks for a few days. Convoy back, anyone???

Would quite fancy going to the Clumber Park meet (would be my first PH meet), if there is a chance of a convoy there (and back!) that would be even better. BTW how far (distance/time) is Clumber Park from Newcastle or Teesside regions?
Dan
Well probably have a trip there from the North Yorks area
Want to join in if we do?

Should be about 2 hours down the A1 from Washington Services, according to the AA route planner. On my map it looks to be just off the A1 south of Worksop, or just north of that 50mph limit at Elkesley for anyone who knows the A1 !
Nubbin - is 1st Sept definitely going to be the date??
Alex.
