Fitting leven wipers

Trying to fit the leven wipers and helpfully come with no instructions. Got them all fitted however are the pipes supposed to go over or under the arms? The old ones seem to go through the spring which seems neater, but the pipes seem to large to do this?

Fitted mine under, however I have seen them looped over the top. Make sure you check the tube is long enough for a full wipe before cutting to you desired length and glueing though, which ever way you fit them.

IIRC mine went through the spring but you need to use some silicon spray to lube them as they are a tight fit. If you can wait I will take a pic tomorrow night and post it up of the fitted article.

The instructions said to put a small dot of superglue on the pipe to hold it under the arm.

Spot on thanks. I did fit above, then changed to below however the pipes seemed to pull at full wipe. Will try a dab of glue to secure the pipe cheers.

How much are (were) Leven charging for these? I seem to recall them being relatively pricey. My next set (when I get around to fitting them) will be these.

Are the leven ones still available?

I want to remove my 'old style' ones that sit quite high. The Passenger side always looks broken too!



I want a set that will sit flat across the bottom on both sides?

The flat blades sound good in the post above, but I'm guessing them don't come with new arms? So the passenger side will still be on the p'ss

Yep still available (see link below in news section), company is just under new ownership apparently. Not cheap as stated but seem a vast improvement over the originals.

Yes, Paul at PPC Melton has taken on the business from Leven, and the wipers are a LOT better than stock.

Top chap he is, too.

Thats what I thought, but I've seen more than one other with the same setup.

Not exactly on topic but I recently bought some bits from the "new" Leven and they couldn't have been more helpful- proper approach for the TVR community.

As said above PPC have taken the products over and they are likely to be having an open day in March. It's at melton in Leics.
