Urgent help with elec. fault please!

Hi there, and thanks for reading this.
The car (a Tuscan mk1) hasn't moved since the bad weather, and of course the battery had died, so after putting it on charge i went to get in but couldn't...battery was still dead.
I then heard a constant noise from the front of the car when it was on charge, it was the heater fans which should only come on when ignition is on. Now heres the odd part. The dash lights (digital pod,battery and handbrake) lights are lit up like in pre start up,yet i'm still locked out and stood there like a lemon.
I then disconnected the battery and charged it, put it back on and its the same. I can get in the car now but the dash lights are constantly on, and even with turning the key and pressing the fob (with new batteries) it refuses to disarm the immobiliser/alarm and prime the fuel pump, just silence! Has anyone had the same/similar problem or know anything at all that might fix/reset whatever the fault is please, as i've run out of ideas and am getting desperate now?

when you reconnect the battery push the alarm fob at the same time and hold for ten secs ,this will reset the alarm to the fob / car ,disconnect batt for 5 mins before , resets most battery alarm probs

I had a similar issue in that the heater fan and centre console lights stayed on when the keys were out of the ignition and the car was locked. I traced it to a faulty relay (allright I lied, the AA man did). I literally dropped the relay from chest height and then refitted it which solved the problem. New relays are relatively cheap from RG, I bought a couple for spares. Hope that helps!

Hahaha, you fixed it in true TVR fashion...i love it, and shall give it a go! Thanks so much, just one thing though, how tall are you, because i'm 6'1" and a simple drop from chest height (if you're smaller) might damage it?

I'm 6ft, try dropping it from waist height and see if it fixes the problem, you can always try higher. I'm sure I saw a couple of Bosch relays for sale in the parts classifieds, might be worth having a couple of spares!
