Anyone used Hyperformance Insurance?
Discussion
Renewal time for the Tuscan. No change in circumstances.
ClassicLine's renewal - £725, increased £50 on last year
Sunninghill - £740
Liverpool Victoria - £1,300
A Manning - £1,200
Hyperformance – part of NIG – part of Churchill – £648
Anyone used these people before? Are they OK???
Thanks

Luca, have you tried confused.com? Their website takes and AGE to collect all the data but they cut £120 off my annual renewal.
My only other recommendation is Privledge, great customer service and one of the cheapest when I looked last year.
I've heard several people say good things about Liverpool Victoria. Guess you're not in their target market!

Here's the latest info using confused.com as the search tool...
DIRECT CHOICE/Zenith...........£1,108.99
ITS 4 ME/Zenith Insurance plc..£1,320.77
SWINTON/Zenith Insurance plc...£1,320.77
MASTERQUOTE/Zenith.............£1,382.21
CHURCHILL......................£1,533.00
MASTERQUOTE/Chaucer............£1,589.14
DIRECT CHOICE/Norwich..........£1,902.33
MASTERQUOTE/Norwich Union......£1,911.19
BUDGET/Norwich Union...........£1,996.42
DIRECT CHOICE/Union............£2,370.00
So its down to either Hyperformance (which I am highly warey (sp.) of due to other's posts) who are nice and cheap relatively speaking, or stick with the current provider at £730.
What's interesting/scary is that Churchill come in at £1500 odd, while Hyperformance who use Churchill are only asking for £650.
Decisions........

PS thanks for all the feedback folks

Hyperformance - my GF was with them last year with her Rover 100. She was involved in an accident may last year about 6 weeks after she took out the insurance it took us until the middle of august to sort it out.
They weren't very helpful - don't know if this is because she was TPFT and not FC. The insurance company (TP's) paid out for the car (as it was there clients fault) - but we agreed with the insurance (both sides!) that we'd buy the car back and repair it - fine they said.
When repaired I told the GF to phone them just to say it was back on the road - at which point they informed her that she wasn't insured! due to the car being a total loss claim - which we explained it wasn't as they'd agreed a reduced payout so she could have the car back and repair it.
We had to get the car re MOT'd, provide all receipts and then wait until they decided if they could continue the policy.
When I challenged them (girlfriend was too upset) about not being insured and we only knew because we'd called to say the car was back on the road they said it was standard - and as she'd called about insuring another car they 'assumed' she'd be buying another car. I complained about not having anything in writting and they basically said tough!
Needless to say she's no longer insured with them - also a bugger to get proof on no-claims out of.

One name missing -- Tesco --
I have used them for three yeras now, a LR Defender, a Ford KA and a 5l Chim -- almost always have come out cheap or competitive.
On good service, an example -- all 3 car come up for renewal around the same time and I do it via the web -- so take Europlus roadside assis/recovery. Took it on the TVR application (but to cover me and wife any car). Landy breaks down 2 days later -- phone up, no records - join on the phone £145 odd, plus on the day fee of £30. Then need a tow -- 100 miles home - discover on the day coverage is 10 miles only, tow company wanst £200 -- I'm seething
, but wife threatens murder - so go ahead.
Monday write to Tesco, they call Wednesday, so lots of checks of records can't find anything
, they escalate things internally, cheque recived for tow fee, and on the day excess.
They are GOOD

Luca - is it a bad time to mention that my 450 SEAC is only £275 with classic line .. ![]()
I'd stay with them if I were you - they seem to offer something oldfashioned called good service.
Tricky one.....I'll ring Tesco, but if that's no good, its between potentially dodgy Hyperformance, and the incumbent.

i tried elephant.co.uk and got the cheapest quote i have ever got on any car and as i am looking for a new car i have had quotes on a lot of cars in the last few weeks. plus i added a female driver onto my policy and it reduced the quote by two hundered pounds. honestly give them a go.

Are hyperformance truly part of NIG? or are they quoting on an NIG scheme?
The reason i ask... I look after their quoting system for them!
If of course it is the hyperformance i am thinking of, address of Garrick House, in Twickenham..
If that's them, they're a company within Allen & Allen
