Does my car drink more than me?

Whilst wondering the extra cost of premium unleaded I thought I would work out a few figures:
I think my car does an average of 18mpg. 1 gallon = 4.55 litres approx.
Insured to to 6000 miles per year and I do close to that. 6000 miles = 333.33 gallons
333.33 x 4.55 = 1516.67 litres per year
Current price at Tesco is £1.30 (standard) and £1.35 (premium) so:-
1516.67 x £1.30 = £1971.67
1516.67 x £1.35 = £2047.50 a difference of £75.83 extra to use premium for the year.
Put the same miles against an economical 45mpg car and it would be £788.67 standard unleaded. Also, thinking back two years when petrol reached £1.00 per litre means my 18mpg Cerbera costs £450 approx more per year now.
Back to my own question. No it doesn't drink more in price than me, but, my bar tab for all my Christmas and New Year drinks was less than my fuel bill. Mmmm.
