Help needed! - Meta alarm!
Discussion
I've got a Meta M36T2 with a M99T Microwave alarm on my V8S. Today I've had the battery out of the car for charging. When I refitted the battery the alarm went off as it usually does on reconnection, which I turned off with the key fob button.
Now the system refuses to de-immobilise.
The alarm sets with two flashes as usual and disarms with one flash as usual, but when I turn the key in the ignition and press the key fob the car remains immobilised.
I have tried inserting the electronic key into it's socket (for 15 seconds) but it makes no difference.
Can anyone offer any help to a solution!

Not a quick fix but this guy sounds worth a try - he does a lot of work for dealers www.tvruk.tv/

That's a worthwhile link. I phoned the people who fitted the alarm this morning. The guy said that I'd probably 'spiked' the alarm when connecting the battery(whatever that means), and suggested that I disconnect the battery, leave it for a while, and then reconnect it. Hey presto - problem solved!
