On reading the post about injector cleaners I was just wondering what people thought about using Slick 50 in a TVR engine? I have always stuck it in my other cars but have not veered from what TVR recommend for the Chimaera?

Any views?

Slick 50 is crap- it doesn't work. Search on the internet for it and read all the horror stories....most of it ends up in your oil filter...
These firms got done by the FTC in America for false advertising ( ZMax was the firm I think ). Most have Teflon ( which you have to heat to 800deg to stick to anything ! ) and zinc and chlorinating agents which when heated turn to Hydrchloric acid!!!
I wouldn't put it in my engines.....
They did a test in the US where they tried these products in a stress metering tester ( bar of metal held against a rotating steel plate ) - Head and Shoulders shampoo beat ZMax in the test....!
