Yes, where the gap goes varies depending where you fit the sensor.
I find it easiest to mark the damper where the sensor is at @60BTDC and fit the wheel with the gap at that point. You don't need to be anally accurate, location is just so there is not a gap in 10degs data at a critical point IYSWIM.

you can adjust trigger wheel to VR sensor offset in the Tuner Studio software too
mine was out about 5degrees as I recall but preferred to rotate the trigger wheel to sync
