Hi Mark

Fitted these shocks a couple of weeks ago and all O.K.
Used these settings for starters then tweeked afterwards to get the correct ride height.

Measured 42mm from bottom of locking ring to the last thread on the shock body-Rear Shock.

Measured 25mm from bottom of locking ring to the last thread on the shock body-Front Shock.

Also loosen rebound off totally then do the following:

10 clicks Front

12 clicks Rear

After driving (To settle suspension out) check and adjust ride height.
I set mine using a 150mm and a 130mm piece of threaded bar. On flat ground check the height
between the floor and the chassis near the wishbone mount, 150mm rear, 130mm front.

All dimensions are what I set mine at and height/rebound settings are going to be to your requirements. This is just a guide to get you somewhere near.

Asked this on another thread, but all the coilovers I've adjusted before have had two C-spanners, I received only one when I bought my car, am I missing one or are Gaz damper heights adjusted differently??

Hi tejr

I was only supplied with one C-spanner.
After adjustment I made sure they were tight
using a brass drift so that I didn't mark the rings.
Undid them using the same.
I just used the spanner for adjustment.

Cheers Jaybee, the rear end on mine needs lifting a few mm to help with ground clearance :S

which car are these settings from - would they apply to a t350?

I wouldn't think so. These are Chim/Griff settings.
Someone on here will probably tell you what to set
them at if they've done a DIY shock change.

Also, the dimensions I have stated are a guide to
get somewhere near and not the definitive settings.

get them set up properly.........fitting is easy/sequenced....getting it right isn't.

they are being pro fitted (inc. geometry), but the set up may not suit my driving style so some experimentation will probably be necessary.
