I've just moved over to Europe and want to replace my Griffith 500 with a LHD T350. I've been in touch with a bunch of dealers in France Germany etc and none of them have a clue about when (if) T350 will be available in LHD. Has anyone noticed how many TVRs are sold in the UK versus Europe? What a joke! Why so few? First thing the basic pirce is outrageous compared with the UK. Second, the cost differential between TVR and the competition is much greater than the UK. Third, the dealers I have been in touch with have mostly been riubbish. Can anyone recommend where I could contact a sensible dealer in central Europe who is prepared to discuss normal prices and provide a good service?

Speak to Marc Minne in Belgium +32 92 823136, he is TVR Belgium. He has sold a few LHD drive Tuscan S and has has LHD Tuscan S demo. As far I rememeber the price is only slighty more for LHD spec. Servicing is very good also. He would know when T350C are available LHD I am sure. He is based at Dienze just of E17.

The high amount of tax is the reason for TVR's being so expensive in central Europe... so mine is a rhd!!

TVR charge their dealers 5% more for a base LHD car, in order to try and recoup some of their LHD development costs. So this makes LHD cars a little more expensive than RHD cars straight away. TVR then leave the various European importers to set their own prices. Then remember that the different European countries have different levels of VAT; and that some countries have car tax still, which will both effect and add to the price. Out of interest, how much have you been quoted for a new LHD Tuscan?

PW and BS said to me about a year ago, that they wanted to sell 80 LHD Tuscans at least before they considered doing another LHD TVR (ie at the time, LHD Tamora).

Hi Simon. I moved to Paris 2 years ago (and sold my Griff 500 at the same time ) but have been thinking about replacing it with a TuscanS after settling down. I phoned the French dealer (Jaques Savoire) who as far as I know is the only one and they told me that the Tuscan did not have "homologation" for France yet, nor were they sure it ever would have. ie impossible to run and insure in this country. What dealer did you speak to and what was the situation re homologation with the T350? Are you in France or Germany BTW?

cheers
