Rockingham TVR lapping & parades on video
Discussion
OK, so does anyone there today want some footage of themselves on the oval?!! All looked very nice and there was I in the Pug 406 because I had to take my daughter and friend to see "Blue"
Still, I got some reasonable footage of you lot enjoying yourselves
I can produce a WMV and/or mpg if you like
Just let me know.
Ian

I got you all in some shots and a fair amount with closeups
Who was the chap in the purple Cerbera who managed to do wheel spins during the drivers parade traffic jam?
I`m going to start doing now and Luca Brazzi has kindly agreed to host - could be a few minutes long even with cutting so be prepared for several MB download if you haven`t got broadband!!

oh boogar....looks like its gonna be a long wait for me then![]()
I'm sure it'll be worth it tho.....
anyway, must get back to sniffing my bonnet again
It`s quite a "whopper", even with drastic cutting - it`s not my fault, it`s all those TVRs. I`ve sent the finished WMV file (8.8MB) to Luca at Sleepy-fish to host and either he or I will post the link on "General TVR" asap. If its any consolation, I`m not on broadband either (ISDN) and have just uploaded it. I think it`s worth having so just get it downloading and then go off and make a cup of tea or ten!!
My village has just secured the 150 users to go Broadband

I've done the last 2 years at Rockingham and thought I'd let someone else have a go (nice guy that I am) and this is the first time they have allowed the TVRs to go around the full track....
....boy am I gutted!!!!! typical![]()
Have to put myself down again next year...
Alan.
Fear not Alf, the only reason they were allowed to do the oval was to help dry the track out
I doubt if any of them wanted to do it really but the track had to be dried somehow!

Nice vid GCerbera - you could obviously do an "inside" with me on the outside
Like the "star wars" intro

I know there is more video coming, maybe we can take the best bits of each and do a VCD?
By the way, my daughter came with us to see Blue as well (handy to have the
Cerbera for family days) but we ended up leaving half way through like most of the crowd.
Slick show, but not even my daughter new more than 2 songs...
just sat for an hour and a bit to download it....and it was worth every minute....well done Ian.
You were obviously at the 1st corner and had a good view!!!
You did get a good shot of me at one point looking extremely cool
and I like the EXTREME ZOOM of my friends 'The Catchpole Girls'!!!
Well done again and thanks

Glad you liked it Nick - and relieved you was in it!!
It wasn`t a bad view from there but everytime they did Queens "Rock you" with all the foot stomping etc, the stand we were in shook really badly and caused so much camera shake!!! By the way, it was a special "soft focus" on the Catchpole Girls - not extreme zoom
