CTEK and a timer?

dear knowlegable types....(can't find the instructions either)
am I going to cause any problems if I put my CTEK on a timer? I have so far left it on all the time but figured an hour of charge/condition per day will be enough. So i have to leave the CTEK "on" and let the timer power it up.....I do vaguely remember reading that you should always turn off the CTEK before disconnecting?

anyone know/have instructions for a CTEK multi XS3600

Once the battery is charged there is no current or voltage that will be going to the battery. You do not need to put a timer on it as one the battery is charged. the CTEK charger will only monitor the battery voltage....when the battery starts to discharger from sitting too long or some kind of load brings it down the charger will deliver a pulse charge to top it back off. So the charger only turns back on when needed.
