My cerb rear screen has stopped working because the tab has come off the screen still attached to the loom, i have been through to Araldite and Loctite and none of their produces is electrically conductive as well as adhesive .I have been suggested soldering but the screen could explode and superglue does not expland or contract with the heat of the screen and the sun and again could crack.
There is a paint from Halfords but is not and adhesive as i found out.
Help guys and girls

Have you tried speaking to a windscreen company?

No idea if this would work but how about mixing a load of alluminium filings in with some Araldite and "hey presto" conductive glue !
I too have suffered from this problem a couple of times now. I rang various glue manufacturers and basically even putting highly conductive fibres in a good glue will still not work because the glue is such a good insulator in nearly all products available....Racing Green advertise a rear winscreen fix kit, but no idea whether it works !
I thought about heating the copper tab up and then applying solder to it and offering it up to the screen whilst it was still liquid, before it cooled..... but not had the ba
ls to try it !!These are just down the road from me, no idea if they willhave anything.

Ick! Get this wrong and your connection will get very hot (melt, fire, explode, etc.) Given it may be the weak link in a rather high current drawing circuit...dnb said:
hopefully you have some ready to fix mine Dave
