Alright TVR fans...

I must admit that I have been a lover of TVR's for yesrs now.
Although not yet an owner of one, I think my next purchase is going to have to be. I have only recently purchased my latest motor, which is a Boxster S. I love evertything about it, plus I have always had something for Porsche. I have been under the impression that TVR ownership is going to be expensive and mean more looking after the car, thats one of the reasons I went for the Porsche.

When the cerbera and chimaera arrived I have always said that I will have a TVR. now the T350 is here and the sagaris is just about here, I must have a TVR!!... I am in love with the T350.

What I want to know is how much is it going to cost to keep. Not including Insurance. A 6000 mile service on the Porsche is approx £200-£300 depending where I take it. So it is quite reasonable to run. Am I mistaken in the fact that a T350 is going to cost loads more to run or will I be suprised and have my money down on one soon??????

Cheers.

6K service- £500-£600
12k service- £700-£900

Tyres- rear pair every 10k- £300-£350
front pair every 15k- £300 ish

But it's worth every penny.

Life...it's not a bl00dy rehearsal!

It is said, as a very broad rule of thumb, allow £3k a year running costs exc. fuel and insurance.

But bloody hell it's worth it when you're behind the wheel

You are quite right to buy and run a Boxter , TVR's are expensive , unreliable, extremely frustrating ( at times) make a lot of noise cost a fortune to service, come in all sorts of funny colours, where as the boxter is just plain boriiiiiing!
you know it makes sense get yourself a proper motor while the Marque lasts
TVR
