Mid Essex to Ace cafe

Thanks Matt and crew, for making us very welcome.
We turned out in force with "two" car's the other being Paul Chandler Aka..."techman", good to see his chim back on the road after what seems like an absolute age!!
Diane counted around 45 cars at one point(y'see even at someone elses event an RO can't stop working)

Diane & Dave said they would go and 'test the waters' as it were for a Mid Essex convoy down.
Spoke to Dave today and he reckons it is worth the 1 hour 45 minute drive as long as we get there early to be able to park.

Food was good and served quickly too.....company was great......

Not so great for convoying though as the number of traffic lights on the north circular means that the cars will be split up often.

Still.....it's on the 1st Friday of every month.

Matt has been to our Meet, so I would like to take Mid Essex up to his.....so......shall we give it a bash next month?

I should really say thanks to Dave, Diane & Paul for making the trip over to see us at the Ace.

I'm really glad you liked the venue - It was my idea and prompting to move the Middx meet to the Ace and I'm so releived that it has been so well recieved.

You guys are more than welcome to visit us next month or whenever you like.

Hmmm, Suffolk, thats got to be a good couple of hours drive, especially on a Friday eve. The Ace is about 10 mins drive from the bottom of the M1 if that gives you any idea.

It'll be okay hughsie......... As it's a Friday night
I don't expect many will be able to finish work early enough for the run out.

Ray and I will have trouble arranging to get off work early enough as it is.......

But, never fear, you won't be having 70 cars turn up on the doorstep!!!
