Average yearly mileage?
Discussion
Now that my car is a year old, with over 10,000 miles on the clock, I was wondering how many miles other people do in their TVRs.
I've seen lots of cars that appear to only do 2-3k a year, and I just can't understand how you can have such a great car and not drive it!
I'm interested to see what the highest and lowest yearly mileage is!

Ed, 10K in a year and you still can't drive it properly...tut tut....
I did just over 16K in the year I had my Cerb...two services and the rest...pricey but worth it...what's the point in owning these cars if they're not driven...How do you get to learn them properly if you only do a couple K a year??

Had my Chim for nearly a year now, and have done about 10K miles (not bad considering I walk to work too!)
It's my only car, plus me and the GF drive down to see her folks in Cornwall 2-3 times a year. Even more so this year as she was working down there for all of April.
I love driving, especially the Chim - I bought her for having fun in, not for sitting idle. When we were down in Cornwall over Easter with 2 friends of ours, they had their little Peugeot 106 with them, and we could have all gone in their car for the whole weekend. But that wouldn't have been half as much fun as blasting around the cornish roads with the top down!!

I have owned 2 TVR's in nearly 4 yrs. So far I have covered 75,000 miles between the 2 of them ...
The S did over 50,000 miles in my hands in 2.5 yrs and the Griffith has done 25,000 in the remaining time (1 and a bit yrs)....
Adored both cars, and am therefore currently averaging between 18 & 20k a year.
However, this year I made the effort to buy run around and have put 6k on that already, saved putting it on the Griffith though !!!

That's a monthly average of 1,437.5 TVR miles a month between me & Ace-T (718.25 each), or 8,625 TVR miles a year each

it limited to 7.5k a year. Which means I need a 2nd car.
