Just bought some blues ones for my Tamora (Blue car) which I will be fitting at the weekend so I can cruise the late night in the local ASDA carpark.

Hasnt everyone already got them?
I have blue on the front and red on the back with green ones down the side.
Also fitted 2 rows of extra fog lamps and fitted those really bright blue bulbs for them from halfords.
All I need to do for the finishing touch is find some glue suitable for holding my ironing board on the back

actually, we were chatting the other day about neons after an idea from Rude Girl. Black Tuscan, black wheels and black leather. blue neons wired up to interior light so as the door opened the interior light stayed off but a blue neon in each footwell lit up.

Thats what my 18 year old cousin has done in his Fiesta! (no lie!)

Friend followed me down the motorway back in the early 90's (not TVR), we were "making good progress" (for the cars we had) and when we stopped he asked if I had a red light under my car.
Turned out to be the exhaust glowing red hot
Too much right foot for the little car to handle

In Italy years ago I was following (and not keeping up) with a lovely bike and a AMG C43.

The bike had a bright blue glow coming from the exhaust which looked like it was jet powered or something! I thought at the time it must have been a light but could it have been some kind of clever magnesium set up?
it was glowing bright in the dark so must have been a light really, but how would that work in the exhaust?

I only mention the C43 as it was tuned even more and sounded fantastic (only seen one other C43 which was pretty quiet).

on my way to work this morning i followed a knackered old granada which was white (and brown rust) with a stuck on red stripe midway up the car and when he braked the surround of the exhaust pipe glowed bright red LED. LED lights around the ring of the tail pipe. nice.

With this "blue light exhaust" thingy no actual light could be seen, it was actually coming from the exhaust.

i worry about the safety of these sort of things. A mate of mine showed me a bloke on ebay who was flogging spark plug kits that affix to the end of the exhaust.

i know of a guy who wants to hook up some kind of compressor to his clutch pedal in his Saxo so that whenever he presses the clutch he gets a dump valve-style "cheee-ooouw ".

i dispair.

My dad tells me stories of how he used to do this in his yoof. (yoof is not a car!).

At Le Mans in response to the loud exhaust bangs he also said " why to the drivers keeping turning the ignition of and on again?!" He was of course kidding.
(I case you dont know what I mean, turning off ignition with gas off and then back on caused loud back fire. Wouldnt like to try it though!)
