Man White Van

I drive to work everyday across Pirbright Ranges which in the Tvr is a nice flowing road which you can sit at 60 and enjoy all the bends. Unfortunately most people drive at 40 and brake for every corner and due to the nature of the road there are not many overtaking places.

This morning I started the run with no traffic in front but about 1/2 a mile in I saw a white van in front. As I caught up with him i backed off the throttle and cruised up behind him. After about 30 seconds he put on his indicator and pulled into a parking place letting me passed pulling out behind me.

What a nice man and I thank him for making my run in so much more fun than it could have been. It does make a nice change for other road users to allow think about fellow drivers and not just moan about whats the point of peolpe having fast cars just because they either have no interset in cars or can't afford one.

Hats off to the white van man whoever you are.

Would it have happened if you weren't in a car with a nice sound track to listen to as he followed?

I drive white vans. I do give way when it is safe and someone is out to enjoy the day. Only if it is safe though. Last thing I want to do is encourage an overtake where there will be an issue. Most of what I drive is limited to 50 on the A roads anyway.
