I've been on this site for over 9 months now - clocked up a fair old mileage in the Tiv -

not once have I been spotted...

I used to commute to Hammersmith from Richmond -
never seen
Hack up the M1 at weekends to see the folks -
never seen
Down to Hampshire to see friends every month -
never seen

If anyone is interested - I will be driving down Church Road, Richmond to the Sainsburys at North Sheen at about 7pm this evening - possiblly returning at about half past.....

am i alone in this 'never spotted' phenomenon?

Nope. We experience it too. We see loads of nice cars when we're out in the Cerb, but we're never spotted either!

I've been here for three years with three different TVR's and have never been spotted either... ..not a big deal really.

never had a spotted post in either my S3 or my Chim. However, have had a response to a few spotted threads when in both the TVR and the everyday hack so I look at it that I have beaten them to it.

still feel lonely though

Best way to get spotted seems to be to park by the side of a busy A or M road and lift the bonnet. Usually microseconds before someone's on here commisserating

I know why you haven't been spotted.... it's because you're all driving at the correct TVR speed..... MACH 3!

Keep it up!

Me neither. And I've seen loads. Oh well, at least it's better to not be spotted and therefore have a rare car than some common-as-muck German machine that seem to litter the streets like turds litter the parks.

On the other hand, I will now be down at Church Road with the sawn off shotgun tonight to carry out a hijacking.

Meant in jest, but be careful with this kind of information. There have been a few worrying threads of late.

I spotted myself in a plate glass window yesterday!

Looked a damned fine motor too! Shame about the old bloke driving it!

Nope, I've never been spotted either. Except by a Plod yesterday, who wagged his finger at me and then gave me a big grin.

Not strictly true, we seem to keep flying past each other or waving
across carparks at race meetings!

Graham - we've never spotted eachother, we usually hear eachother, see a vague blur going in the opposite direction, and then establish later who it was lol! Not sure it counts if you only live round the corner, anyway

It gets worse...100yds from home last night in the cerb, spotted a griff coming other way, flashed him past the parked cars....NOTHING. Not even a wave to acknowledge i had let him through, NEVER MIND I was in a TVR!! Some people!!
