CD Changer problem

My Cd changer in boot of Griff - standard Pioneer unit as supplied with car - is jammed.

One of the 6 cd holders in the cartridge is jammed in the "play" section of the unit and won't retract. Unit will not release the cartridge either.

Any one got any any ideas to sort this out (preferably without using an axe!)

you shold be able to whip the cover off and identify which rollers, gears etc. do what. Then just manually wind the disc out and extract the cartridge.
Otherwise, I'll give you £5 for spares...

That happens, usually i thump it one and out it pops.

IIRC there is a small hole in the case somewhere where you can poke a pointed probe in and it releases the cartridge.
Trouble is I never found out where the hole is on mine, it somehow sorted itself out and has been OK for months now.
