Hi Boys and Girls,

due to the limited car parking and ever worsening food, we have moved
again, this months meeting (this Thursday 9th) will take place at the
Wheatsheaf pub in North Waltham, Basingstoke. This is directly on the
A30 just outside Basingstoke.

For anyone requiring a map, one can be found here:
www.tvr.hants.ukgateway.net/Meeting_Venue/meeting_venue.htm

Have fun, and see you all in a couple of days,

Take it that this is open to all Hampshire based TVRCC members...not been to a meet before!

If the other half will let me out this evening (was out for a curry and beer with a mate last night ), could well be up for this!

Once again I'd love to come but it clashes with the Wine Society that I help run. Can't let 'em down.

Its even an excellent location for me to get to dammnit!

If the Hants TVRCC do any local events not on the Second Thursday of the month make sure you post 'em - I'll come along and say hello....

By the way.

Apparently this Sunday (12th May) there is a Basingstoke Festival of Transport in the War Memorial Park. Any of you locals (CarZee, JonRB, Beano etc) going? Anyone showing off their car? Anyone been before? Is it worth going? etc etc

dammit - changed my mind - can I come to your Wine Society Don???

Hadn't heard about this festival of transport.. where is the Wah Memorial Park? (Me? Local Knowledge? Never..)..

Evidently, I never read the local papers except when I'm feeling peeved and looking for something to write a bitchy letter about

Course you can. Just e-mail me. You facetious b****r. Seriously, if you like wine (I'm a real vinous nutter) its good fun and new members are always welcome! For a confirmed car nut I can see how it wouldn't really compete....

Nor had I. I'm not one for local affairs either....but I have it on good authoroity the there is one going on. If its not p*****g down I though the Mrs and I might go along for an hour or two.

If lots of people were going it might have been a laugh to create a minor Pistonheads presence by parking up together...

I shall be there as usual (well I try to attend whenever I am in the country ).

Black Chimaera with the roof down (unless it actually starts raining that is).

So Dicky, have you had any more thoughts about "you know what"???
