Big Six rear end swap

Hey guys, someone here must know who did this - I've been informed I'm not hte first to think of putting an M3 rear end in the Big Six - who did it and can I get hold of him? Anyone any ideas on this or info on where I can get some advice before I strip n chop the old girl.

There was an article in one of the car mags about it .. might have been Retro Cars?
I also remember one guy had a Stag with a Rover V8 and BMW diff in it .. might have been the same mag.

www.monarch-stags.co.uk/index.html -> Transmission -> Diff Conversion Kit will get you a BMW diff wap kit for a Stag - don't know if it would work on a 2000.

thanks guys - I'll check out Monarch and hit Retro and PPC sites. I seem to remember it was a southern guy with a triumph garage - but you're not the only one with the age added memory leaks! I'm off hunting........

I thought that too....... but I was told they have no recollection of it. Was told Mark would email me if he did have an idea - or a contact - but nothing yet.

I'm sure Chris W referenced him a long time back when I first thought of the butchery.
