To go on the front of a Smart forfour Brabus, if it makes any difference.

The car does not do too many miles, so the big priority is for something that grips well.

What do you recommend?

The lads in the office are all saying to go for Yokohamas. That is what is on there currently, but if the Hankook, Toyo or Avon will grip better, I will go for one of them.

Really?????

OP, I'd avoid them like the plague.

Yokohama parada spec 2 are the best 'everyday' tyre for out and out grip or Toyo R888 for something a bit more special!!

It has Yokohama P spec2 s on there now, which do seem good, but because they were on there when I bought the car, I dont know how good. I dont mind paying a bit more for something that will give a bit more grip. However, I want to be sure that it will give more grip before spending the extra money. The trouble is, it is difficult to tell without buying and driving, then I am stuck with them even if I dont like them.

Paradas are very good, the toyos also... value for money id say k110 but if you dont mind more then yes if it was just grip u r after then paradas or TR1.. similar quality and similar compound. Both japanese manufacturers. Personal preference from there on out smile

Well the OP did say he was mostly interested in grip and at no point mentioned any concern over price...

Seriously you would recommend kuhmo? I wouldn't fit them to a lawnmower.
