we have audi a3 cab s line with 225x40x18. i assume these are runflats as there is no spare or foam.

Cant believe the price of replacements, has anyone just chucked on a couple of normal tires ?

cheers

Never heard of run flats on an Audi, it will say on the sidewall if they are.

As above, but if they are ruinflats you can just replace with 'normal' tyres.

No the Audi should not have run flats on. Out of interest anybody wanting to swap from run flats to non run flats needs to do it in a set of four. Incidentally BMW say yes you can do it but they don't recommend it as the cars suspension and brakes have been set up for run flat tyres.
