Lube shock pistons?
Discussion
Is there ever any need to lube shock pistons? I'm currently cleaning-up a set of adjustable shocks that are a few years old dusty/dirty and the pistons seem a bit 'dry'... no film of oil or lube that I can detect. That said, the shocks seem fine and not sticking at all.
Any benefit to using a bit of light machine oil on the pistons, or better to leave well alone?
