2008 A4 break pads

Hi. Yesterday the break pads warning sighn appeared on the dashboard of my car. Just windering aproximately
how long i could wait before changing them. As i have a service on the car due in about 1 months time.

Sooner rather than later. The sensor wire is buried quite deep in the pad. If what little if the pad is left breaks up the brake disc will become an additional casuality as it grooves from the pad back plate.
Bring your service forward a few weeks and get it all done at the same time.
