Been looking for some lower suspension arms for the gf's 2003 KA. The rubbers have perished and its making a slight creaking noise which she hates.

Checked on Euro car parts they want around £40 per side, but looked on Ebay and you get both sides for £40.

Question is should i just get them from Euro car parts, or is the EBay stuff any good? I have only ever bought car parts from Motor Factors so not sure if Ebay stuff is a false economy?

A link to the specific ones in question?

My opinion is you get what you pay for; cheap parts often don't perform as well or last as well.

Also I'd be concerned over customer service should there be a problem.

I changed the lower wishbones on the missus KA, several years back. Due to damaging the bushes after a steering rack change. For me ECP were cheap enough, compared the price of individual bushes and the cost of replacing those.

Very likely just as crap as each other (Q-drive is ECPs super budget brand), so if you don't mind fitting st parts you might as well go for the eBay ones. They probably won't last long though.

I would have thought being on Eurocar Parts they wouldn't be the budget brand. The only other ones Lemforder? They budget as well?

Lemforder supply a lot of car manufacturers so they're not budget. I've used ECP for some of their Q-drive suspension parts and been fine. I've got a discount code you can use if you PM me.

ECP (and GSF) offer a 'budget' and a 'quality' option for most of their parts. "Q-Drive" is ECP's budget offering. Lemforder are OEM for many car manufacturers and are top quality parts.
