Brake Pads for Clio 172

Does anybody have any recommendations for replacement brake pads for my Clio Sport?
The OEM ones have been adequate for what I use the car for (brisk road use). Just wondered if there is anything better out there with a reasonable life, warm up quickly and won't shred my disks in weeks.

I've been impressed with teh EBC greenstuff i've used on my audi. A bit weak for literally the first few seconds every day, but grip really hard from there, anotehr small flatspot just as tehy're getting really warm tehn great from there on. I've done 4k on them so far including a trackday at cadwell.
ive tried many pads on my saxo vts(very similar to clio), and ebc were the worst by far. the most abrasive, less bite, more prone to fade. and just a general lack of confidence in them.
i changed them over to mintex c-tech 1144, and was shocked, the very first application of brakes just showed how bad ebc were.
50% discount is good on them, as in my opinion, it probably puts them at their realistic price.

Strange. I've just been told this by an online retailer.
They are part of a recommended setup that quite a few over on Cliosport.net use for track work.
They are also used on this;

I'll probably just go for the Mintex.

I think the 0-100 has something to do with the 6 spd sequential sadev box that the cup cars have fitted. they also allow full power shifts....
have you tried them at the 'motorsport experience' (or whatever it's called) at Bedford autodrome. very impressive little machines. Tried to buy one from renault portugal lst year, but they're very hard to SVA and put on the road. Renault UK & France won't sell you one as they want them to only be used in the one makes series in each country!!!
PS If you can get pagid grey pads in the clio caliper size, try them. they offer a friction coefficient of about 0.65 and don't need loads of heat to work. Eat discs though!!

That's quite staggering for what is a mildly tuned clio, with all the bits ripped out. That is a similar time to the BMW M3 CSL.
I might have to throw away the seats from mine!
Agreed mate, that's a very approximate time!!! No way a 190 bhp car will do a sub 11 0-100mph, kmph perhaps!
