Mechanic who fitted is baffled.
Any ideas?
Find a mechanic who might be less baffled by something so very simple when it is in front of him ?Any ideas?
Step by step guide.
1...Open eyes and look at springs.
2. Where they of suitable dimensions compared to the old ones he removed ?
3. Did he install them correctly ?
4. Become unbaffled.

Changing the springs doesn't change where they are located. If they are fouling now I can only imagine they are of a larger diameter than standard.
Check the old spring diameter to the new spring diameter like Mignon has stated. There’s no way a mechanic would be baffled by this or else you have fitted them yourself and tried to do a bodge job and in fact they’re larger in diameter?Gassing Station | Suspension, Brakes & Tyres | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
